Has

anyone experimented with or made a game with the RPG Map Maker? There's a

link on the link page...
Anyway, if anyone has, can you tell me something.

I've made a map, but when I hit save and play map, I get a runtime 53 error

that says "file not found." I've downloaded the vb runtime files, so I

don't know what's wrong.
Also, if anyone knows, how do you make a game

multiple levels?
I'm asking here because there wasn't a questions link on

the download page.
Thanks.

Well, to start it you go to the last crusade folder, go to map maker, and

run it. I don't think you need to extract the files...
I may be doing

something wrong in this process. I'm such a newbie at this stuff.

LOL,

it ain't accessable! I've been workin on it with a friend. I guess this

shows how much of an idiot am, posting it on a blind game forum. Just

wondering if their was anyone who knew.

I

believe there was some talk that it currently wasn't accessible.  I'm

hoping that this will be fixed in the near future.

Much less active on this forum than in the past.

It

is not accessable, I have been working with a friend who is sighted. I will

repeat, not in a hostile manner, that I was not very smart to put this in a

blind gaming forum.

Well Hi,

I'm really glad there's a thread about this, as I was

just about to post one. One thing that disappointed me when I ran into Audio

games two months ago is the total lack of Rpgs. I've always wanted to play

them. Internet ones and muds are okay, but something with the atmosphere of

Final fantasy would be great.

I know there's a couple in developement

(aemon and Castle quest), but judging by the timing of the news posts

niether is going to be finished inthe near future, if at all.

It would

be great if someone could modify the Map maker to make it Screen reader

friendly, sinse I'm sure that a lot of people (including me), would want to

create maps for it, and maybe exchange them over the net? (though I'm

guessing at the moment that's not going to be possible).

I'm not sure

what the programmers are doing, sinse there's no contact or news link on

the page, it's almost as if the project's been dumped on the internet to

gather dust.

With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)
