Hello,
This is a new gm soundfont made by zan mires on youtube. I'm interested in your oppinions on this one, and would like to hear more samples of it while I wait to send my mac to the shop for repairs.

The soundfont seems very incomplete, because not all GM instruments were sampled. The samples seem to be at 11025k or something like that, and some of them have aliasing affects. Is this meant to be an emulator, by any chance?
Zan is not giving out any info on this soundfont, beyond a couple demonstration videos on his youtube channels.
It seems, though, that this soundfont is incomplete at best, so I wouldn't recommend using it as a primary soundfont.

Did the YouTuber have any disclaimers? Or did he just give people a link to it?
Well, he did say it was incomplete himself. But didn't give any detailed progress updates like what family mario is doing with my tts preschool album. Speaking of which, could you do a samople of this soundfont being used to play a kids song?
I think I have a few midis laying around, I'd have to find them, though..

That piano almost sounds like wavetable, or maybe a mod instrument I've heard before.
