I doubt anyone is this far, but I'm stuck on Shadow Kingdom Level 5. I'm by the laser with three tunnels to the right of it, all of them dead end. What do I do?

Ha, I'm a good bit past that, but congrats for getting that far. You've got a wail of a fight on your hands shortly. Few of 'em, actually.

You're probably going to get hit once here. What you want is the very lowermost tunnel. Get as close as you can to the laser without getting hit, then when it's safe, step right once, then down once, then skedaddle to the right. A little right-angle bend, it's sneaky, and very easy to miss.
Okay, spoilers are over.
And as for the person asking about nicknames:
If you can wait, there is a guy later who will rename manamon for you, but that assumes you've got the full version. In the demo, you cannot rename manamon.
do I really need to get a linar to get to the next stage? I'm asking because 1: I don't know is linra transforms into linar, and, 2: Am I doing the right thing?
@Flame, follow the wall south of the jungle entrance until it ends, then keep following that wall and you will eventually get to a new area opening to your left.
Everyone, please keep in mind that when someone says something is a given direction from something else without giving specifics, it's generally the straight line direction, which the game almost never lets you go in.
how do i get past that door. i can't remember all the manamon.
FlameElchemist, you're going to have to be more specific, but if you mean in the arcade hideout, you're just going to have to do it successfully. I don't really have any advice. I hated that minigame, but only because I suck at it. Thankfully I only had to do it once, the other locks are different.
You don't need Leonra or its evolved forms for anything unless you really really want a specific manamon in trade, and I'm like 90% sure you can get that other manamon another way, so if you don't want to level one up and don't intend to use one, don't feel like you have to do that.
Hey everyone.
I'm super far now, and I have a question.
Spoilage warning:
I'm just about at my wits end with both my Banyardan, and my Niamanja. Thankfully by the sounds of it, my Banyardan won't suck as much soon. Does Niamanja transform? If it does, how or what level? This thing just dies after like 1 hit from anything, and it's only a level or 2 lower than the rest of my team.
Thanks for any help,
Matt
so, I'm gonna have to find another way, ug
yep. i'm talking about the floor under the arcade. i got to 3 and couldn't remember what number the next one was.
Hi @Flame
Spoilage warning:
That door does open eventually, you really have to try. Trust me, there was a lot of F Bombs being said when I was at that part, you'll get it eventually.
Try the learning thing, that helped me.
HTH,
Matt
i did the learning thing. lost track of which came with after the one before it.
I'm explored the city and graveyard, and found nothing. Any hints? I'm talking about the stage 2. Well, someone should make a walk through for this game
Small
spoilers
The second stadium leader is hanging out in the graveyard. Find him and talk to him, and his stadium opens.
Matt,
Banyardan is freaking awesome. He's weak to a good number of things but his sheer sticking power is tough to beat. Plus he gets a sleep move, a power-up move, a healing move and attacks that support his type. Berserk Branch is nice, and way way down the road you will get Earthquake. He's so good, in fact, that he got ahead of the rest of my team and I had to spend most of yesterday and part of today catching everyone else up.
As for Diamanja or whatever, I'm just guessing here but have you tried using a shadow element or some other item on him? I haven't ever used him, and you're right, he does seem pretty frail so I don't think I'm going to. Though Black Bite is a nice attack by the look of things.
Hello all
Loving the demo so far. Would you be able to add a way to completely mute the background music? Not the fanfare music that might play when you trap a mon but just background in cities etc. I love playing games with environmental background sounds only.
Thanks
where can i get a Banyardan and where can i find some magic users??
You currently have 19 tokens and 335 credits. Well, I'll be able to buy Placebot in an hour or so if I keep this kind of stuff up
EDIT: Thanks jade, I'll go back to the graveyard when I'm done getting 7000 credits. I usually purchase 64 tokens at a time so as not to just waste gold
Honest to god. Wait around until high-low opens up, then use your credits for that. Far far better returns, and it's fast. I made about 3500 credits in an hour.
Banyardan is the evolved form of Leafox. It's a plant-earth type with very balanced stats.
Can anyone who is -not using Leafox tell me the type of the fire starter's second and third form? Its manapedia entry talks about a pentagram on its back, and I'm wondering if that's to indicate that it's shadow or undead type.
I'd also like to know if Aquaffe eventually picks up a dual type, since it starts as pure water. Usually when one starter has a dual type, the others do too.
Obligatory spoiler thing:
Aw crap, and here I was excited that my Manja just evolved. Sounds like it's still a bit of a bother to keep going though. Black Bite is ok, but it doesn't share his type, so it's not super strong, my Bombusect loves that move though, well when he's not busy being an extreme pain in the opponent's ass with de-soul and fang drain constantly doing damage and healing himself. I'm glad I stuck with Cacone now even though I already had another insect, Bombusect is probably my favourite team member to use right now.
Just beat stadium 3. That story is so sad. I actually have a friend who is in a situation quite a bit like that girl's. Smacking around that stadium leader was immensely satisfying. Also wasn't as hard for me as the first 2 were, although I think I got lucky, I somehow went on a Cyclone Claw rampage with Eagawk of all things. It just kept killing and killing and killing until his last mon finally stopped it. Bellard then quickly fell to Bulpine, who recently learned the Sleep Move Jayde has hinted at and who is now pretty difficult to stop if he gets going.
Looks like I might be up against some flying types soon though, uh oh. And nothing rubs that in more than the level 30 wild rock type I just faced... that for no explained reason I'm not able to catch.
I wonder why it seems like everyone and their dog went with Leafox. I know I was intrigued by the dual typing right off the bat, and I was quite a fan of Torterra back in generation 4, so I went with it. But now I'm curious about the others.
shouldn't the XP thing be less so you don't have to grind as much?
@Jayde, Flammia's transformations are flame and shadow types.
Oh awesome, thank you. Shadow doesn't strike me as a really handy type, but that's good to know. Hopefully he gets some good damaging shadow moves to work with. That will at least give him some slightly better coverage.
Yeah, that third stadium is really not too bad. Holy doesn't seem to be an overwhelming powerful type, like dragon or earth traditionally are. Maybe I'll eat my words eventually - I'm having fits over a Sacriloon at the moment, sort of - but yeah.
just anyone know what the phones are used for?
I'll go get the second key, and then I'll go back to the casino if I get the pocket copter before beating the second stadium
I'm stuck on Octaross... does he have multiple parties?
grind, grind, grind. 3h of grinding... my party is level 30, 5 of them, the first one is at 48, yes i know he's high, but i like him, he messes everything up. so do you think i'll be able to do shadow trainers now? in the tower after fourth master?
Hey all.
Spoilage warning:
Niamonja transforms at level 45, and holy god it has some really freaking awesome stats. It's now butt kicking time, literally.
Such a long time to wait, but so worth it.
My Banyardan just learn Solar Canon, so I'm quite a happy camper right now.
For people still trying to figure out a team, don't under estimate Squirmunk, it's quite good once transformed.
Happy taming,
Matt
