Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if there's an app similar to UMusic for Mac, but basically I want to start doing something on my channel that I'm not sure how long it's been going for. People upload full albums as one single video on Youtube and put timestamps within the description to jump to each song on the album. Making the mp3 with the albums songs joined together isn't an issue. For the albums I want to upload and promote, I have the artwork for them, so does anyone know if there's an app like UMusic for Mac that'll take a JPG and overlay it with the music and make it into a video? If not, I suppose i can use the Windows version on Bootcamp and edit on the Mac.
How does one insert timestamps into a youtube video? Is it one of these things where you can just type it into the description area or in comments? Ex: 0:00 for the beginning of the video.

I'm not sure what utilities are available for making video's on a mac. As for time stamps, take the link of the video and put the following string right after it: "#t=31m08s". That string takes you to 31 minutes and 8 seconds into a video, so you can adjust the time stamps to take you to whatever part of the video you want, like #t=05m10s would be 5 minutes and 10 seconds. A full string would look like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veD_Q9M79bM#t=15m55s

Something to keep in mind however is if you plan on uploading copyrighted music you'd better be prepared to either have it monetized by the rights holder with ads or taken down outright, the RIAA has a bit of a grudge against the likes of youtube.

I guess, you can insert timestamps into a youtube video with the help of https://www.viosk.com/ video maker. To save money, go for its free version. Good luck, friend!
