I would like to know what software yall use for recording/createing and editing 5.1 surround sound? I would also like to know what format is most used for saving these recordings in, along with getting them to play in winamp. I'm wanting to create or record a file that would be used to help with setting up my surround speakers. at this time I have everything set up right but sometimes I pack up my computer and move it to some other place, wich happons so little that I sometimes forget wich plug is wich. I also would like to see how well I could create a play in audio form. In short, paint pictures of things happoning in audio form. When and if I make a recording that I think people might like, I would like to post it somewhere where people can listen to it and hear everything the way I ment them to be heard, like a radio show in surround sound.
