no, you're not missing anything. If you want to see what's there, you have to create an account.

So unless you are just not thinking its prity suspicious to have a site with no info on it.
Then it asks for my email disability and address etc, then my mobile number.
I don't know anything about this site, and it could hold spam, cracked software, a virus, etc.
Either tell us what it is all about or put something up that is good.
If you can't handle english right then put someone up here that can explain to us what this is.
I was going to create an account to see, but I don't want spam emails, and mobile spams etc.

After I created an account on there out of curiosity, I did a little exploring. There are 4 main pages after you have logged in: home, education, tech, and the last one I can't recall. So, taking my curiosity further, I went into the education section, and found 4 pages, one of which I explored. There's a units page, a books page, and the other 2 I can't recall. I went into the books section and discovered you could upload a book in 1 of 5 formats. That's all I have done in exploring of the sight as of right now. As to the worry of you getting a virus, or perhaps getting spam e-mails, I have received none of these so far. I have not received any calls from unknown numbers. I hope this will take away some of the worry in this topic.

I'm sorry but I need to be able to see if the web site has anything I want before I'll give up any personal information to create an account. For all I know, the site could be just an email harvester gathering email addresses to sell to who knows who.

ok, 1: no, it's not an e-mail harvester gathering your mailIds to bring about the doom of the world as we know it today. 
and how do I know this? because I was part of the development of this site. 2: this is a website developed and maintained by disabled for the disabled.(in a way, a community effort) 3: you can upload stuff, and you can download stuff that others upload(a community effort, again) 4: people can make requests, and hope someone's there to fulfill your requests. so, basically, it's a nonlethal, nonharmful, and nonthreatening platform where one can help out or ask help from the community.
I was more interested in the nature of the content.
Sites that require you to sign up just to look make me grumpy.
Interesting concept. But what does the site offer to download at the moment?
it's just started up,(launched on Jan 4). so at the moment, it's got nothing much (we rely on the members to fill it up.) as for the content, it's pretty much everything appropriate legal and all that.
What's the point of this site? Is it just a bunch of forums?

I guess my only question for now is, why ask for a phone number?
Not everyone has a mobile phone.
Even the zone BBS has some sort of description explaining what sort of site it is, even though said description is out of date.
Does it have a reader for books that doesn't have page turns and that doesn't lose one's place when they close the book?
Ok I decided to give this website a go.
A big disappointment.
During registration, if there is something wrong or missing, the form is cleared and we have to complete everything again.
This is the first time I seen these behaviour. Usually the information we feel in stays on the page so we can make the corrections and send it again.
It took me about 5 minutes feeling the form especially adding the about me section etc and I don't have the time to keep feeling the information again and again.
Also.
Greek is not listed in the available languages.
The form was rejected because state was missing.
Keep in mind that not all countries include states.
My country Cyprus for example, only includes cities and villages.
This wasn't a valid reason to reject the form.
Fortunately the phone field is not compulsory otherwise I wouldn't register.
Sory for being so negative at the moment.
I will give the site another try but I wasted 5 or 10 minutes now and I admit I am doing this now from work so wasting work time for nothing is a bit disappointing.

wow. That's horrible. I doubt any professional web developer who develops a form like that would not survive. I'm definitely not going to bother with this site now.
@animeshhh, sorry. if you manage to fix this form, and also change the site so I can view some of it without registering, then I'll reconsider it.
