Hello all,
I have been searching for this for a longer time already...
I downloaded Reaper plus the ReaAccess addon, but couldn't find any tutorials on how to use Reaper with ReaAccess.
I am also trying to find a good multiband compressor and Reaper has been recommended to me, it should be the most accessible one.
So, does anybody here know a good tutorial for Reaper I can read through or listen to?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
There are a couple of tutorials over at:
http://cucat.org/cavicasts/2011/
It's an index page, so you'll have to scroll down until you see the ones about reaper. You could also use your screen readers find command to search for reaper, and find the files you're interested in.

I hope this helps.

Hi,
Thanks very much, this already helps me a lot understanding the Features of reaper!
However, I think they didn't cover things such as the multiband compressor. Do you have any suggestions on that?

Thanks.

Curious to know if anyone has used ninjam and whether there is a good tutorial for that, since they're now part of the same company that makes reaper?

In regards to REAPER,

the best accessibility sollution we have for it at the moment is OSARA, made by the people behind NVDA:
http://github.com/nvaccess/osara

There is a readme on the page, however I'm not sure how helpful that is to getting started with the thing. ReaAccess is outdated and the main developer disappeared. And since he didn't share his code... Yeah.

So, in other words, the latest Version of REAPER doesn't work with ReaAccess anymore?

I doubt it. I think the last version ReaAccess officialy supports is Reaper 3, maybe 4. Certainly not 5.
I'm just starting to learn Reaper myself with the the help of Osara, so I'd also appreciate some tutorials. I got the bare basics I think, but nothing more.

Make more of less, that way you won't make less of more!
If you like what you're reading, please give a thumbs-up.

I'm definitely interested as well in this whole thing. I have a guitar synthesizer that has interfacing and midi capabilities that's just begging to be used... but I don't know the first thing about music production. lol

guys, I have to tell you: reaAccess is compatible also with reaper 5.10! I'm using it without problems! Now Osara is better, in my opinion but The other plug.in was a must, at least for me, since I tryed Osara!!!

I'd like to use it for Podcast purposes, as well as Musical stuff, should I find any samples of instruments, especially drums, and perhaps a few nice VSTs I can use. Any help would be apreciated here as well.
But as podcasting is concerned, I would like to record me over a Piece of Music, so the Music turns down a bit when I speak and raises the volume if I stop talking for a couple of seconds. I heard you have to set certain parameters for that, but not sure really.
