Beleave me when I say I have the worst situation out of all of you. I've been away from stw since july! So i have the highest score in smstw survive missing survive the wild. My computer has a virus on it, and when I noticed it, it was when i updated stw. So yeah. This computer is, like, 10 years old any way, lol.

I haven't played the game for very long time. Has anything been done regarding players who constantly kills other players? Are there more maps now than the main map and the city?
unfortunately he killing is still present, but a lot of improvements have been done... there are now plenty of maps, the pine forest, the camp ground, the fishing village, the marshes, the beautifull forrest... and also you can now build different weapons and a compass.
Yes, sadly the killing is still there, but there are lots and lots of maps now, so if you are on 1 of less popular ones it's not that bad.

Main land, abandend camping ground, desert, rocky spring, deep deep ocean, shalow ocean, radiated city, fishing village, gass station, general store, swamp, big lake, pine forest, dirt nothingness, mountin, nasty marsh, beautiful forest landskape ... and I probably forgot some maps ...

I have offered my help regarding to host a server a lot of time, but those messages where people are offering their help are just being ignored, so I'm not asking again. 
I also hope the server will come up again in the future.

Cause it was down almost a week Hope this game will not going to be gone forever.
Because it was quite good place for the people that can interact with each other quite well that's why.

Yeah, I really loved this game. Can't wait for Sam to actually. reply, so we can know when the game Will be back (if ever ... I hope it's really just for fiew days ...).
So it's high time I replied. So with stw, I can have no way of knowing then the server and/or damien pendleton will apear again. I know that there moving houses, and doing that, then getting internet access can take a while. He gave me a lot shorter time when he told me, but hey, there moving house, anything could happen. If it's not up soon though I will send a message to him about it. I agree this downtime is terible. About itnoring help messages, it's not my point to try to ignore them. I probably do more than I should and i'm sorry. The thing is, I have like 30 different people wanting to host an stw server, but the problem is, I barily know any of them. They say they can host but well first I had a host that was working just fine, I need to get my maps and stuff from damien before even considering switching to another host which I don't really want to happen, see, switching hosts 20 times on an online game will start annoying both the players and me, it's a lot of work, and I have to put a lot of trust in the person that is hosting for me. As for damien, I know he's moving house, and I know that can take half a month sometime. I will see if I can get some sort of an update soon, however.

It's good that you're working on getting the server back up as soon as possible. In the meantime, I've been enjoying Bloodshed a lot, so there is something to be excited by. Also, Mason solved the same problem by allowing Ultrapower servers to be hosted in addition to the main server, which is really handy when the main server is down.

I'm glad to see you replying again, Sam. I guess we Will have to wait and play smstw or std or whatever variation of "survive missing stw" you come up with, hahaha. Bloodshed is nice, yeah, I'm just noot good at it 
. So I really hope we get stw back soon.
@Sam: I see. I thought it was easier to switch host. I thought you had all the maps so you could, for example, host it yourself maybe just some hours of the day. I didn't know it would be that difficult to switch.
I have a 70 MBPS connecttion and a machine running 24/7 which is running other server things. Feel free to contact me any time if you need a host, but I'm not very experienced when it comes to servers.
yeah i have a vps and could do it but its linux, and yeah, BGT and linux are like two guys, they don't hate each other, one is like an alien, and they look on each other with a bit of fear. They don't understand each other, language is completely different. Adil, the surver is currently down because the host (Damian, if I remember corectly) is swiching house. Noone, even Sam, really knows about when the surver Will be back up ... maybe after fiew days ... maybe later. We have nothing to do, sadly, other than just wait.
And, it sounds like very difficult to move to an other server...
I also deeply love this game.
but, now dead server.
hopefully in the tackle as soon as possible.

The server is down for approximately a month. It is not acceptable. Maybe we can host our server just like ultrapower, If Sam released the server program. Just my think
I don't want to allow people to host there own servers, I have my own reasoning behind that, such as, if I do that, no more comunity. Everyone can host there own servers, and also, people would start just looking for a server to play on. Nah, I don't want to take that path. But, guess what? I'm chatting damien pendleton as I write this, who has returned from the world of no internet and if luck has it, the stw server will be up very very soon, like... today? Maybe.
