Hello,
I am looking for some comments about FIFA.
I read that in the old versions the commentator was useful to play the game.
But in the last versions he is missing.
It would be great to get some comments of the view of blind gamer.
FIFA seems to be a very important game,
special for the eSport.
Is there a blind gamer eSport Team ?

I have not played fifa yet, but i've heard it being played. I don't really find the fifa games very accessible.
I read at gameport.blindzeln.net that the old version was playable, because the commentator said everything,
and the gamer heard what is going on.
But they reduced this comments a lot. So that it become less accessible :-(
When they would add a commentator and a speaking menu,

I will wait.
The best suggestion I can give you to get a feel for audio games is to look around, pick a few games from various places, install them and play them with your monitor turned off. Close your eyes if it helps. It might seem highly awkward at first, but believe me you just need to concentrate and stay calm and you'll get the hang of it.
Yeah, it was really awkward when I tried terraformers.
I did not listen good and missed lots of information ;-)
The german community will maybe produce an audio introduction in AudioGames.
I hope that I can use this on game events.

The most amazing thing is (I nearly fall of my chair) this:
AudioGames are often copies of mainstream games,
To ad an audio user inteface to a mainstream games,
the developer can use the audiogames to "see" how it can be done.
I.E. Warcraft and SoundRTS
I would love to have a big documentation about SoundRTS :-)

Certainly a noble goal.
Maybe it might be best to begin with something slightly simpler than Terraformers? Especially to get used to the medium as it were. Perhaps fiddling around with Ten Pin Alley from Draconis (the demo will do fine), or messing about with Top Speed 2 a little.

which is an awesome website where blind people can upload their game recordings of console games they find accessible. There are not any recordings of Fifa up yet, but you could try to subscribe to the mailing list and ask if someone finds Fifa accessible.

Wow it is great, and I did not miss anything (like graphic).
I hope I can train my ears more and be able to play AudioQuake.
