So, if your not seeing some of this, methinks there is an issue at your end, maybe with the zoom level or similar? Certainly the info is still there as far as I know.

Ok, I don't know what's wrong here. when I browsing this site with ff, the thing works fine. but when I browsed with IE, the thing won't show up. strange.

Well it's fine with ie on my end.
Have you tried altering the zoom level? I've noticed that can help if parts of webpages aren't showing up correctly.

Hello,
There are a few interesting things happening right now, sometimes the kama shows up, and sometimes it doesn't. It's like a sort of minimalist version of the forum. Yet suddenly out of no where the full version of the forum returns, and it flits back and fourth.

2015-08-14 17:12:14

User Karma also showing up fine here on my Chromebook. Acer Chromebook 11.

2015-08-14 17:13:36

Hello,
Right now it's just showing up with "online" without showing nay locations or user karma, so it's going all minimalist again. It's really odd, this is with firefox, and yesterday it was working fine.

Hi,
@Dark
I also adjust the zoom level. but the page won't shows up properly. And the link private messages etc are gone also.
@Aaron
I use with it with firefox it works fine. accept IE.

Hello,
This is weird, the user karma and such has suddenly returned on my end. I don't really know what's going on, but it all seems back to normal for the moment.

2015-08-15 21:57:24

@Socheat, I just suggested zoom because that has worked for me in the past with display problems, to be honest I have no idea what is happening with the forum, as I said it's all showing up fine here with ie on my machine.

Thanks Dark. I think I just stick with firefox then. smile

Hey, i'm having hte same issue with firefox. I mean I can fix it by going into appdata\roaming and completely nuking the mosila folder, so one step closer, firefox sometimes acts strange, also something else i've notised is it does the same thing when I connect with my ipod, not showing user carma and things, I wonder if the forum server is somehow getting tricked into thinking were running some sort of mobile platform when we log onto the sight? It's really odd, all I know is whiping your FF config fixes it for a while.

Found a fix! It makes the page look slightly different, but it's with the basic page layout. Go into the view sub menu of firefox. Select page stile then select no page stile. That makes things a bit different, but it at least shows everything like it should and it doesn't try making the page look... well... basic. That's the problem. Firefox things the user carma and some of the nav links etc make it not basic. This fixes it, and iit actually says now like for exampe, 12 replies, 300 views, reply by samtupy1, etc. So it's a bit of a new look to things, but it fixes.

I've had this problem for at least a month now, if not longer. I am also still seeing the message every time I log onto the forum that says, do not update your profile for the moment. I'm thinking it must be somehow related.
I'm glad I saw this topic, because I was about to start one of my own asking when the user karma and ability to edit your profile would return. I usually view the site in IE, but I'll try it in Firefox and see if anything changes.

Well, it seems that this issue was gone since I'm start using IE with windows 10.

Yeah, as turtlepower said above, there maybe something wrong with the PHP code?

I don't think there is a problem with the php code, I think it's just a browser view compatibility issue, after all it does seem to vary with different browsers or windows versions, (it's fine on my xp laptop and on my Iphone with safari).

As to the message, that is not related to the view problem at all, and is a separate matter entirely. It'll be removed when the error with the profile is fixed, though when that happens is up to richard and sander.

Ah, ok. I thought since the user karma issue started happening around the same time as the profile issue, it was related. I stand corrected.

Using Firefox, the user karma does indeed show up, so I guess I'll be using that from now on.

Hi,
@TurtlePower, you can still using IE with this forum. just go to the forum, and maximize it. the page will look as it is before.

Hi,
Nope, that doesn't work for me. My IE window is always maximized, because I use Auto Sizer, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I'm not sure either, sinse I've got Ie over here and not had any of these issues at all.
