Oncemore, sad, dysmal and generally miserable news is on the horizon, so tissues at the ready.

Yet again, we have news of another developer who's decided to kick the dust of audio games developement from his shoes, saddle up the horse of new project creation, and head out west into the sunset for wide, new teretories and parts unknown.

following danZ up the metaphorical trail out of audio games town is Simon's games, makers of several online and self-voicing games.

Like DanZ though, Simons not just upping and leaving, but giving us the chance to have a last grab at his work before his site goes west. So head over This way for Simon's games and rather sorrowfully check out the various offerings.

for a limited time only you can play several internet games such as scissors paper stone, spelling and hang man. the major news though, is of a variety of games which work with Jaws or window eyes, and can be self-voicing via sapi. In this catagory is a most cunning archery game, fast and loose with nasty difficulty settings. Also, there's a major treat for anyone who fancies themselves a potential double 0 Agent of her Majesty's secret service, a self-voicing version of the card game Bhakarat, ---- known to be played in a certain Casino royale, and a favourite of russian spies and men called bond, ---- James bond!

then, Simon offers a self-voicing naughts and crosses game (aka tick tack toe), a self-voicing blackjack game and a dice program.

so have fun with all these goodies while their stil on offer.

Here's wishing good luck to Simon in whatever he's upto next.

With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)

Hi nickster, welcome to the forum.

If you want to ask questions about war muds or anything else, feel free to start a new topic in the general game discussion forum, that way you are far more likely to get the answers you want. Suddenly dropping off topic questions in the middle of other threads like this isn't likely to help you get answers (sinse people looking at this topic will be concerned about simon's games, not war muds), and makes the forums more difficult to read for others.

Have fun.
