I have changed something about the walkthrough
it will now only contain stuff for grand theft auto liberty city stories
and while some stuff like the "mottos" can be used for almost all of the gta games, grand theft auto liberty city stories is a much better game that I think will be more convenient for the blind people

I've never played a PSP, but I have seen them in stores. I personally wouldn't get one because i'm not really interested in alot of the games on it, and the ones I am I can probably just get for my DS if I want. It is cool for people who want a portable gaming system that can also play mp3s and movies, thoughI dont' know how many movies are available in the PSP disk format. I suppose you could put a movie on a memory stick, though

And dont' even get me started on GTA. LOL

Connor

anyway...
I just completed the pedestrian notifications, some menu tips, some parked car locations, and I am working on the "mottos"

Hi Connor. Sounds awesome. I can't wait to see it.
Brian: Which features are accessible on a ds? And which games do you find accessible ? Is the mp3 player accessible too? And is the tuchscreen accessible? Does the menus raps? Maybee we should start a new topic about the ds. I want to hear more about it. I have seen a few ds games there might be accessible.

Best regards SLJ.

Hi.

Have anyone tried the netradio feature on the psp? I haven't tried it yet, and I'm wandering if it's accessible.

By the way, what do you think about the mp3 player? I use it every day and I love it!

Best regards SLJ.

LOL I forgot I posted in this topic once.

As far as the DS, I only own one game, New Super Mario Bros, which was the only reason i wanted a DS over just getting a GameBoy Micro. I do want to try and find some old GBA games, though the place I went to a couple weeks ago said they stopped carrying them about a month ago. NSMB is mostly just your typical Mario stuff, good ol classic side scrolling like back in the good ol NES days. I've only been able to beat a few levels so far though. It does offer some mini games which you can play either alone or via WiFi with another DS owner. They all require the use of the touch screen, which is well...duh! It's a touch screen so it's not gonna be very useable. There are alot of DS games that sound cool, but that rely heavily or entirely on the touch screen. As far as I know the DS doesn't have an mp3 player, or at least not one released in the U.S. I used to have an iPod and loved it, but after I got my PAC Mate Omni and found out how much better it is to actualy hear what I'm scrolling through,  I don't know if I could go back to an mp3 player with clicks to indicate the menu. The Pod was nice though because I could have all my music on it and have anything new I rip or buy online automatically add to it via iTunes. That, and the fact that iPod is pocket size. Hmmm...screen reader for navigating plus small size of the iPod=icon? LOL

LOL as far as GTA goes though, basically I just hate the whole premise of those games...

and...as far as I know the DS menus dont' wrap, and like the iPod, they click when you move from one option to another, and there's a different sound that plays when you selct an option I.E. if you want to play a DS game, a GBA game, or play a game with someone over WiFi. I have also used the DS download station to sownload a game demo, but that required sighted assistance to select the game I wanted to download which ended up being just a video for Mario Party DS.

well I know we are tuching on delicate matters but if its all the violence in it, well I certainly can not change your opinion, but plenty of other games have violent situations in it sometimes worse then gta like Man Hunt
and if you don't like it because you think it makes kids want to shoot people, most kids have enough sense, and if there five and playing it their parents should probably have more responsibility over them
Just saying, I am not looking for a flame war
but why do you specifically hate them?

Hi Brian.

Thanks for the info about the DS. I know some games I think is accessible for the DS. There are some great 2d games.

Connor

No. I didn't thought you could replace it. How do you do that?

well you by this cheap thing, you pop out the little tiny knob that comes with it, and you put in the other one, you might need help from someone else, simply because my brother helped me with it

note: you have I think three to choose from in the package I got

in other news:  I have played around with gta IV, I have a small knowledge on how to move around, drive, access and dial phone, how to get to the cheats menu in the phone menu, and other various controls

if anyone is experimenting with the game, I may be able to help you
