Also, I finily was able to track down and squish that bug where refueling got stuck sometimes. Enjoy! Oh, and also as requested several times, repair has hopefully been made a lot faster.

I'm still quite new in the game, and I'm a total newbie regarding to all the features.
Have you considered making more guides or updating the readme? I would gladly help where I can regarding to this, but first I have to get more used to the game. It seems as there are a lot of Things which could be added to the readme or any guide. I'm not asking for walkthroughs so you don't have to figure out something on your own, but just explanations on how Things Works.
We were actually considering building a new flight school for though's new to the game, since the game currently dumps you off on signis alpha with out even an explonation, and this could be why new players are having so much difficulties.
That would be good, especially if it came with missions, although I do agree with Slj that some improvements to guides and/or descriptions of things like ships in the game would be helpful.

Hi all, to add more realism to the game, you will now here the probe sound when someone is using the sensors console, this sound will obviously stop when you select an object to scan. Also, in the next version, you may see the starts of a building system since I figured out a way it could be done, hents i'll try to work on it for planets.
Hi all, since the various starship classes article has gotten extremely out of date, i've taken the time to rewrite it from scratch. Let me know if you have any questions. Also, I didn't include the new ssn since shane had just released it today, and since I haven't really explored it much to figure out what it was all about, yes, i've still got my fine old lockheed and it serves me well. Also, i've dephanatly noticed their arn't any moons in the game, i'm thinking we should add to the planet probing system the possibility for it to find moons orbitting around a planet, though i'm still trying to determan how menny it should find.
Also, an awsome new change to planet probing. Planets will now have a set number of moons orbitting them, currently they are non landable but I do expect this to change at somepoint. So yes, rejoyse. Also, sirten planets you probe will be non habitable, this means their will be no landing sites on them, but you can still name them, you can also name moons as well. Enjoy! Oh, and i've finished off the patrol mission as a last thing to missions, just wanted to finish that off even though the client side work is done, I wanted to have some missions for people to play at the launch of this system. Also, i've started some very basic work on the new planet side building system, so expect that in the next update as well.
Greetings all! You've waited for what feels like years! But now... unvailing, beta 9! With a few new features long requested. Don't let the small changelog fool you. This beta sports the new mission system, pluss a brand new building system. Simpply hit b on a planet you own to build on it. Currently you can only build a teleporter outpost, but as buildings and missions are server side, expect more updates and such. Note! The building system, at this time, is a little glitchy. Implemented new builders menu, accessed by hitting b. This will be for buildings on the surface of planets.

Oh, and one last note. Derelict salvage is implemented as dark requested, it needs a bit more tweeking but it is awsome and provides the ability for you to look around and get artifacts.
Hi all, as has no dout been noticed, their has been some technical difficulties with the mission system, specificly pirates some how getting into federation space and doing rappid, surprise missile attacks on inderion and signis. We are trying our best to restore lost ships, and we have also added a /clearmission command in chat for when your missions get stuck. Just be prepared if your near the signis system for sudden explosions, and random deaths, as we are trying to figure out why these pirates won't stay out of our space.

One question: How do you take the owner of a planet?
In order to be assigned to a planetary colony, you must be on the ship that probed the planet itself, however I think an awsome way around this problem is to implement an actual planetary colony building with security and such. One thing as well, a new change, moons, even if they are orbitting non habbitable planets, can now have landing sites on them. So yes, you can get moon side colonies.
Greetings, fello captains, pilots, whatever! I'm perfectly happy to announce, that finily after months of waiting, the typing system has been fixt once and for all. No bad punctuation marks. No missing letters, none of that. It will be in beta 10 once it comes out. Though's who are on the game now will tell you i've been testing it and using punctuation marks all the time, and its worked perfectly.
Greetings all, i've fixt patrol and derelict missions, so enjoy blasting enemies to bits and exploring derelict starships. Also, i've thought more into how to implement dark's idea, and I thought of this, tell me what you guys think. Their could be an asteroid crashsite mission, where when you selected it, we can say pirates braught down a starship, of course. The asteroid itself would be surrounded by pirates, so you'd need to take them out first before landing on the asteroid. Once you landed or beamd down baste on your choice, you'd then head over to the derelict, and board it, and attempt to salvage what you can find from it. I also thought of the idea that its possible to salvage derelicts as in bring them back to life and be able to use them, but i'd really need to consider that idea first.

danny will unban you when he is good and ready and if he believes it the right thing to do, however repeated requests, especially repeating literally the same messages in the same words could look like your spamming him.
People have previously recieved moderation warnings and even been banned from the forum about things like this, so please bare that in mind.
As I said, it's up to Danny and the other moderators of dmnb, and generally speaking the more times you go on asking the more it appears your just trying to cause trouble.
