I've been seeing quite a few new posts lately from people trying to get themselves into audio game design.  Here are a few youtube videos that are aimed at sighted game developers, but should be just as useful to audiogame developers.  I'd say I agree with about 90-95% of what the advice they're giving in these videos.  The videos are produced by a youtube channel called Extra Credits.

Oh, one nice thing about the Extra Credits videos is that the entire visual side to their videos are just simple pieces of artwork.  You can watch their videos without actually needing to "see" their videos, and you won't miss out on anything.

Hi.
Wow, thanks for sharing.
That just tells me that I've made a pretty good job on my first released beta of my Swamp campaign, when thinking about this is my second campaign I have ever made. I never released my first campaign because I ran into some issues with the campaign script. My goal this time was much, much more advanced than my goal for my online simulation and my previous campaign failed, which the videos also tells. big_smile

Best regards SLJ.

Hello,
I might have to crank out dragonflame and see if I can get something, ur, cooked up. Yep, bad pun, as far as flames and dragons are concerned.
I don't want to do a boring guess the number game though as my first, nor do I want to make the next biggest audiogame blockbuste. I want to do something that will just break the mold a little bit, but not that guess the number, noooo.

Aaron, to be honest one of the issues is people have sometimes seemed to think they have to release anything they produce. Sometimes it's worth just throwing something small together like a guess the number game to see how the code works and just play around with it, then write it off as a learning experience and use it as a stepping stone to bigger and better things.
