Hello all,
Maybe someone can suggest how to fix skype on my computer?
When i'm starting skype, I am unable to navigate through the options such as username, password etc. I've tried Jaws and NVDA, both gives the same results - I'm unable to login into my skype account.
What I should do to fix that?
Operating system windows7 ultimate64bit.

Does it shows a some arror messages, or when you open up Skype it just says blank?

Socheat, when I open up skype, it says something like that.
Press the incert+ h(well thats the standart sentence which jaws ssays when you open up skype). Then, Jaws told: Skype: status unknown. And nothing else. When I'm pressing arrows or tab, it doesn't say anything at all. Only tab, tab and so on.
Damn sorry for my bad English.... Hope you understand.. hmm

How about pressing down/up arrow? Does the jaws says blank? if so, I've also encountered this weird problem as well. there is no solution on this. you have to reformat your pc.

Hi.
Try to check if there are any toolbars installed on your computer. Those can mess up any screenreaders so badly...
Can you reach the menu by pressing the left alt key?

Try pressing ctrl tab to see if there are any other windows.
You can also try ctrl 1 to see if that'll bring up the main window.
It sounds like you've got the app version of Skype for windows 8, but that's impossible I think, because you're using windows 7.

Hi SLJ, when I press control tab, nothing happens. When I press control+1, it says window not found.
The strangest thing is that I'm unable to close the window at all, I'm going to task manager and shutting down the process to close skype. That's damn strange...

As I said, you have to reformat your windows I'm afraid. I've also encountered this problem awhile ago, even though I clean the registry. It still doesn't work. until I reformat my OS.

may be the basic required software like .Net or java not pre installed when you buy lenovo laptop .So my suggestion to install those basic driver software first than try again.
