Hi.
The title says my question exactly. What do you think is the best electric guitar synth or amp sim? I'm posting this topic because someone has posted a topic about guitar rig, and I thought there might be some VST users who are using guitar synth or external amp sim.
I have another question. Although I'm using vsthost as my main VST host application, it doesn't allow me to chain another VST such as amp sim or effector. Does Reaper make it possible?
Oh, one more question for Reaper users. Does reaper have a function that loads fxp file into the active VSTI?

Orange Tree Samples is the closest I've ever heard, but not VSTI.  It's a Kontakt instrument, which is a separate monster altogether.

There's always shreddage 2 or however you spell it, though I'm not sure on its accessibility. But that thing sounds ridiculously realistic though. I don't know too many people who have got it to work with vst host, but if you have any luck anywhere with it let me know.

Does anyone know an accessible way to use Kontakt libraries? I think they're completely inaccessible.

Um, Kontakt libraries are accessible and have been...A gentleman named Steve Spamer developed Hot Spot Clicker sets for it.
