Hi.

So, I heard about the TW Blue twitter client for mac.
I downloaded and unzipped the .app file.
However, when I run the program, it says the app can't be opened because it's damaged or incomplete.
I don't understand why this is happening.
Before anyone asks, I have gate keeper set to allow apps downloaded from anywhere.
I've tried downloading the zip several times but it keeps giving me thesame error.
Can anyone help with this issue?
Thanks

I don't know. But keep in mind that this is in beata so problems might happen.

I never heard of Gate Keeper. Is that in Safari? I have the Windows version, but haven't yet tested it out. In the mean time, try out Yurukuyuhu.

Hello.

gate keeper is a security feature in mac OS X which is aimed to make your computer more secure by limiting the kinds of apps you can run such as allowing only apps from the app store.
I have disabled this to make it run apps downloaded from anywhere.
I don't get why it won't open at all though.
Is it something on my system?
I even tried runningthis in the yosemite beta on another partition but it didn't work.
I just received the same error.
Can someone please help?

Is Gatekeeper found in Spotlight? I don't thik I saw it. Has this been tested out on other macs? Maybe it's compatiblewith certain hardware components, either that as well as software ones.

Go to system preferences, security and privacy.
Check the general tab and look for a thing that says allow downloaded applications from.
You will need Mountain Lion or Mavericks for this to work.

Oh, yes, I think I saw it there, smiles. I must have found it when I was browsing around the system preferences.
I'm trying to locate a setting that I can't seem to find. I looked both in the voice over preferences and the system one, but it's not there.

Well, the client works now.
Someone gave me a .app file which successfully launches.
However, I have another problem.
The client does not automatically refresh or notify me when I get a new tweet.
Anyone know how to fix this?
