hi!
does annyone know where to find a good sound editing program that works for blind people?
hi sabrina!
I am blind and i use sound forge, for me its the best editor.
But you can use gold wave.
i can send you this if you can but write me:
my email is [email protected], regards
Yes, gold wave is my personal favorite. I also like AdobeAudition; it's really neat.
Another sound applyance is PBVoCoder; I have not bought this but I will sooner or later.
Sabrina, I am using a mix of thing. Audioblast, wav to MP3 encoder, MP3 to wav decoder as audioblast only works on wav files. All 3 are free. I use internet radio software to mic record with can't get that software anymore. I think Windows has a mic recording feature too. I have not used that. They guys here can let you know more on that. I would like to know as internet radio software is old and does not run well on XP.
Go to download.com as that is a safe software place and a lot of stuff is free.
Neo
My personal favorite is adobe audition, but I've heard wavepad was good too and from my little tests it worked quite well. but adobe audition has pitch correction, and a killer doppler effect that really sounds like it's doppling on a stereo file.
