hi!
i would just like to know how exactly do you get sounds from the

internet onto your comp, and then transfer them into a game's program to

make a mod?
and does anyone know where i can find sounds like
off the

simpsons say?
or sounds inparticular?
thx

Hey,

it is the simplest way, which you can do smile
ok.
At first, find

out what type of mod do you want to create, and from what game.
Note that

there are many games which sounds not waves, or waves but in a coded

format.
ok, after that, go to
http://findsounds.com
and search for a cool

sound which can be used in your mod.
After you found a good one, download

it.
And the last step, check out what is the sound called, which you want

to replace.
Rename the downloaded sound to the sound, which you want to

replace.
Run the game, and test it how it works.
Write an instruction file

to it.
And send it to
http://www.audiogames.net
smile

Hi,
Actually i forgot this topic, sorry smile
But the answer:
Well i dont

know what file are you trying to download, but explorer have to download the

file, just like a program  or a zip file.
If you click in findsounds.com's

search result in a link, for

example:
Ftp://sounds.de/sounds_for_assassin/sound.wav
the download file

dialog will be appear.
But, please write back what type of file do you want

to open.

Bigy, oh sorry, BigY smile
so, i dont like real player, but real

player can open sounds in explorer. Just disable the explorer plugin, and

enjoy.
Sorry for the long post smile

If you cant download the file somehow, use flashget for

example, or press the applications key, and choose the 'save target as'

option from the menu.
Well, i have hungarian xp, so maybe the menu item

will be appear with different words smile But you will know it i am sure.

to

save it in windows media player, you'll have to open the file on window

media player, than choose save as... than choose the folder you want to put

the files in. than call it how you want it to be called and here ya go.

hello,
are there any shortcut keys in windos media player for "forward"

and "rewind"?
I mean, not just for lets say to skip a sound track in a cda

but also to go back like 5 seconds in the file
and listen to it, just as

though you'd do with a type machine
thanks

at the save in: box, if your useing windows 98, press down arrow and press

folders that are on your comp. then press p til you hear "program

files".
if your useing window xp, press down arrow and press l. "local disc

c:". press enter then press tab 3 times. next, press p til you get to

program files. press enter. you should now be in program files. find the

game you want to mod (example: tarzan junior) which is a folder. hit enter.

then press shift + tab til you get to "file name:". then type the name of

the sound you want to mod (hit) or something. no parrenphisis though. if

it's a wav file leave it aat the file type it's at. if it's not, then use

audacity to export it as wav. then, when you've renamed the file useing

file name: box, press enter. it should now be in the folder. run the game

and see if your new sound is in it.
i know it sounds very hard, but it's

easier done than said!
