Word Target is an anagram style word puzle game, the latest mind bending addition to the Blind Gamers series by Ian Humphries of Spoonbill Software.

In the game you are presented with a three by three grid of the nine letters of a word, and must make as many words of four or more letters as you can. However, the catch is that every word you make must use the central letter of the grid, the Word Target!

The game allows saving of old games, and even manual entry of letters to give an unlimited amount of puzles to challenge the language centers of your brain! Like all the other Blind Gamers games, it is self-voicing using Microsoft Sapi, and also features graphical options to optimize the game for low vision gamers.

You can find out more about Word Target and the various other great free word-, puzzle-, dice- and cardgames in the Blind Gamers series by checking out the Spoonbill website. To get your hands on a free copy of BG Word Target or any other Blind Gamers games, please send an e-mail direct to Ian Humphries on irhumph at omninet dot net dot au and he'll send your games along as soon as he can.

Any comments or suggestions about Ian's games are also very much appreciated as well.

Well, once you've requested a game from Ian, he will put you on the list, so may none of you be missed! ------ oOh sorry, Mikado reference there.

Seriously, once you request a game your put on Ian's announcements list, so that you'll know as soon as he's developed a new game, ------ though of course, you can ask him to take you off the list if you'd prefer.

There's actually a review on Blind cool Tech of Bg hearts, one of the Spoonbill games, done by some weerd English fool calling himself Dark. While he's obviously a complete and utter nutter, I'm totally confused about all that "Casting of the pod" malarchy that he goes on about.

Stil, if you'd like to here it, go to The blind cooltech site and search for Bg hearts.
