Well

I went ahead and tried again to create a character using my Hotmail address.

I adjusted the junkmail filter setting so hopefully this time it'll work.

If so look for Quarath the Eldron on your adventures. BTW, I have one quick

question. How does one learn spells? Does it happen as you gain experience

as in many RPG's? I'm just curious because the Eldron can use magic and I

was wondering how you learn it. Well, hopefully this'll work this time. I

rarely if ever check my Yahoo address so the fact that I'd use that one for

PRPG frankly astounds me.

Right

now the game has no magic. And the description is meant more to say that the

Eldron are more inherently magically skilled than any other race.
So far,

we've only got basic classes and no magic, but magic, with the help of

yours truly, will soon be a large part of PRPG, as will class abilities. The

game is still in development, so you'll have to be a little patient.

It

has magic, just no spells. Magic portals, and healing shields are magical

and they use up magic points. Will be cool to be able to cast spells though

when that is introduced. I am a level 64 Eldron right now. 1 more level till

I promote.

can't make any promises as to when magic itself will come, but it is

coming. I have personally designed half of it and the lead writer, Eaving

OLarkin, is coding what he can, with our main coder's help. It's slow,

it's like pulling teeth, but I've already done a little preliminary

testing.

Right now I'm just trying to find my way around in that cave. I'm using

Andarien since I still haven't heard back from them at my Hotmail address.

there anything wrong with the character you're using now? Why did you make

him?
(Oh wait, Andarian is your second character when your first

flopped.)

Unfortunately that's a sporadic problem that certain people

get when they use really big-name email programs. It's been cropping u more

recently though so I'm going to have someone check into it.

That's right. Using my haoo account was sort of a lst resotr. Right now

I'm just building up levels on the farm. I went into the sewer but I got to

the point where there was a metal grate that I couldn't move. Then I tried

to go through the cae so I could deliver that letter of Korven's and I got

to the point where there was a locked door, either that or it was just

stuck. So I decided to build up a few levels just in case, even though I'm

nowhere near strong enough to fight the Golems in there. I went to go buy a

pet though and man they're spendy!

A

couple things:

1. As of yet, the grate doesn't move.
2. Unless you find

a small key, you won't get through the door in the cave, and that's not

where the letter is. I had trouble finding the dude in the cave actually,

since there's really no direct cue exactly where he is. If you simply

follow the path itself you'll walk right past him. If you can find that

east-west path that ends at the locked door, go to the far left end of it, I

think, then go one south and you should find the man you need.

Don't

waste time on pets, IMHO they're all but pointless.
