I believe there are very good adventure games available from Bavisoft at
www.bavisoft.com

More action orientated games, with one or two more strategic titles, from GMA games at
www.gmagames.com

And plenty others if you cyheck the games list on this site. Just be aware there are several projects on the list that are abandoned, and some that appear to be indefinitely delayed.

I'd recommend super Liam from www.l-works.net. it has different bosses all reacting to different things, has very funny dialog between liam and x1, and some of the levels are quite challenging. one of the hardest levels for me was level 4 act 2, i didn't hear any fireball so jumped over the firepit, but as i pressed the up arrow, one came, and i have to guide a partially fried super liam now.

It would very much depend on how people define adventure games. I used the old definition I understand from mainstream games prior to my sight loss, if this is confusing anyone I apologise.

Hi,

a very good resource for text adventure games is:
http://www.ifarchive.org

I know these are not strictly audio games, but you might still like them.

In the hands of a gamer, word becomes weapon, argument becomes shield, and life becomes a quest.
