Hi everyone,
I am designing a websight and have finnished all my files and stuff.
I am planing to use the microsoft web publishing wizard that comes with VB6.
Can someone please tell me where I can find an accessable web server programm for windows?

daniel, if you know VB6 you could make your own.  smile  I'm sure that's not what you had in mind, but I'm just throwing that out there.

The web servers I have made are not usualy that good.

Hello.
If I am getting this right, you'd like to setup a server on your computer,correct? if that's the case,you might want to have a look at.

If you are able to setup that you should be able to setup a website on it as well.

Just be very cautious of security. There's a reason most professional web servers don't run on Windows boxes.

Not to say that having a server on your own computer isn't a handy way to test your site out before putting it up for the world to see.

You could always run some kind of prepackaged wamp stack (windows apache mysql php/perl/python).
I'd probably go with a dedicated server or some shared hosting, but it could be a viable solution to test stuff out.
