Don't you think the soldiers move a bit slow? They take like

10 steps to move one sell! other than that, right. It's the best game from

that website. Please look out for me every time you want to play a partner.

ya i do agree that the soldiers move a little bit too slowly. but

well, i guess this is just a part of the game right hahahah. the scouts move

the fastest and can scan the farthest but it has no weapons of its own. but

to make up for that, they have their speed and shields which do not need to

be directionally adjusted to block enemy torpidoes. on the other hand,

cruisers and tanks have different weapons of their own and so moves slower

then the scouts and has a much shorter scanning distance compared to the

scouts. cruisers move faster than tanks i guess it's because well, 

cruisers require more minerals to produce and well, i guess if you were to

ask someone whether which moves faster, a cruiser or a tank the answer u

will get is most probably the cruiser too. lastly, we come to the soldiers.

well, i guess it certainly makes sense right? how can a soldier move faster

than a tank? and it has to carry 3 different weapon while moving u know

hahaha. oh and they are cheap to produce and that's why they are also easy

to destroy or run out of energy. o ya. and my partner Id is kt hope to have

a game with u soon.

have some problems concerning the demo of galaxy ranger. i played the 3-day

demo (old galaxy ranger) uninstalled it, installed the new version, and

tried to copy the product key for demo mode. but when i try to register with

demo mode, it says: your copy was not registered. oh well, i ran the game,

and it said: sorry, you must run the configuration program before starting

the game. and i configured my copy. what is this? or is this a bug to

everyone who used the 1.1 demo?

The

game is indeed probably one of this company's best games. Just about every

game they've created has the same problem: you never stop moving. I'm

reminded of Mortal Maze and X-Hour, where instead of being able to use the

arrow keys for directional input, they simply turn you on your course or

spped up/slow down...never liked that at all.

though...reminds me of a seriously dumbed-down version of Starcraft.

i know this topic is really old but somehow found it again by browsing through the forum i sometimes do to see if i've missed something. and well, for me it worked this time i got on a computer instead of a laptop now and it did work. the problem you can get is that you have to first run the configuration program, then you can register your game. this was the problem i was having.
