that is a good idea, though I suspecct maintaining such a site with current news, reviews etc might be rather difficult (heck, even agnet gets behind with news from time to time).
One thing I'd actually like to see is a site similar to audiogames.net devoted not to games, or even access tech generally, but programs or screen reader accessible tools which let you do something else, or serve a more general access function to something in life, call these utilities if you like.
I mean, rather than specifically large scale software or access tech like screen readers, Things like Aprone's new colour program, some of the audio timer programs, dark keyboard, audio dice rollers, gps software, some of Klango's handy tools like the shopping system or accessible maps etc.
Essentially ways to use your computer as an access aide to do none computer related things in life.
While all of the major companies like freedom scientific, dolphin etc have fairly extensive reviews and instructions on their sites about their specific screen readers and wat you can do wth them (not to mention blind cool tech), nobody has collected a list of ssmall, handy programs which just make certain other things easier.
With our dreaming and singing, Ceaseless and sorrowless we! The glory about us clinging Of the glorious futures we see,
Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)
