Hey.
actually you can download a trial version of sf8

from:
www.soundforge.com
Note: You have to download the .net framework 1.1

and a service pack to make it work.
When you made these, just run the prog,

simply press ctrl+o to bring up the open dialog, choose .rav file type, then

you can open files.
When you open a file for example from gtc, it will ask

for hz-s.
Try to play around with it, and you will se what i mean.
BTW, i

think soundforge is the best audio editor.
I tried gold wave, and yes, it

has a few different effects, and features, but anyways smile

Best

P.S.: You can download several scripts for it, but

actually i dont use them (that doesnt mean that you dont have to use them as

well smile)

goldwave is better for me, but an even better program is audacity. you can

use raw data as well, but then again you'll have to either lower the speed

or choose a different quality
i may have posted it before, but if you want

it go audacity.sourceforge.net, and download it. then simply press r to

record, s to stop, p to play. you must have a part or everything selected to

add effects, though.

well, these all sound far too complecated,
i think i'll wait a

bit.
thx

But audacity is free, and goldwave is far

cheaper.  I haven't really tried either a whole lot but soundforge (even

the studio or screenblast version) is remarkably easy to use once you no the

keys and everything.

Which version

of sf have you got?

When the program starts, it will display a

registration window. Anyways, try open from the file menu, but ctrl+o should

work as well.
