hi,
After experiencing somewhat with a friend of alter aeon, since
yesterday i joined gw2 as well. my name is wuver. i also defeated erion in
an arena.
My first weapon i actually did something with was a bastard
sword, which i am still using, but i started with a quiver of 20 arrows as
well, but now i've used all of those 20 arrows.
fortunately, i got an
endless quiver of arrows now.
and yes, alter aeon does have bows and
arrows, but everything is done automatically. this is good in gw because it
lets you actually load the bow, put an arrow on it, and fire.
Also, pieces
of your eq can get damaged, but you can always go to your home and restore
to restore all of your hp, mana and AP, or repair to repair the damaged
eq
i thought this game was hard, but now I've found a few good features
that's good for blind. as mentient before, config prompt eliminates you
from seeing those annoying hp messages when you type in a command, and i
don't know, but they are at least very annoying for me, so i turn them of
with config prompt
But i also had a problem my jaws keeps stopping by a
name or something, and sometimes if the line is too long doesn't fully read
it. and now that i know that you have type color off, the game is working
fine for me.
Also what alter aeon does not have is you can ride on stuff,
for example a horse, but dragons are better, as you can even fly with them.
it makes moving a lot faster.
