Hey all. Does the subject title sound a bit familiar? Well anyway, I quess
my subject asked the question. I'm fulling around with GMATank Commander
and can't find decent tank engine sounds. Just yesterday I managed to
access the sounds of a PSX game called Metal Gear Solid, since there is a
tank in there, but still... Anyway, see what you can think up.

find Alone In The Dark or any other monster sounds?
well actually, i found the game on google, but couldn't find anywhere to
download it from, it was just all reviews and i don't want that.
so, can
you think of anywhere else i might find monster sounds? i've sucked

ran a quick search on Yahoo and got lots of matches for Alone in the Dark
demos. Try:
"Alone in the dark X"+"demo"
Where X is which one. Some are no
longer up, but some are old dos games.
Be aware that many sites have a
main page for a game, with links to reviews and demos from the same page. If
you find a review page there might be a demo link somewhere. I know several
of the big sites do this, I have regularly looked for demos or patches for
main stream games on the behalf of a relative.
Well, you can keep looking for Alone in the Dark, but I know what you mean
when you say it is hard to find. I only found it with the help of my
download manager's mirror search. In the meantime there is a website called
Game Revolution. It is kinda hard to find, but once you find it, and once
you're in the PC demo downloads page, there ar perhaps hundreds of games
there listed alphabetically. They have both Resident Evil 2 and 3, both of
which are vary popular PSX zombie type games. The sounds in them are very
well concealed, but I think PSound will be able do handle them quite nicely.
And who knows, you night even be able to find Alone in the Dark in there as
well. Anyway, that's a bit too long a message from, try it out and good
luck finding it!
I only
tried to find it to see if I could. I know there have been several alone in
the dark games, and I didn't find the demos that hard to find using the
abocve method on Yahoo.
