Grenades on 0 will cause trouble. There are now 11 weapons apparently,
since the fists have been added on 1 everything else was moved up one
number. That's what I've heard at least.
I get a message that says error opening game.dm file. What is this?

I had that bad game.id file as well.
I uninstalled sod.
I
installed sod again, and i copied the patch to its dir.
And now, the error
message is a bit different, but still exist 
There are two dialog boxes,
in the first:
Error!
Bad Reference Line Number in line [1.01] SOD// Game
Code
OK Button
After i pressed that, the second popped up:
GMA Game
Engine
Bad game.id file. STemp2 =SOD Game Code =
OK Button
So the patch
didnt help me.
If anyone knows a solution for that, please reply.

to say it, but you might want to contact GMA. He'll need to know about this

robjoy i don't know if you exactly did what i did, but you need to not copy
the whole folder, but just replace the sod.exe file in the sod directory
with the sod.exe in the patch folder. you might already have done that, but
just a tip if you didn't.
and yes, Bryan, i did know about the keystrokes
file. i will consider doing that and trying the game again soon.

Well you dont have to move continually in the game. move with shift
+ up arrow. that is, you can either press shift up and hold it down to
move, or just
press it step by step.

To remove the bad game id message, i think you have to set your
system language to "English (USA)" and your location to "United States of
America".
The
patch was supposed to fix that. I'm in UK and don't currently have issues,
I'll try it on my XP machine later.
