I just ordered one of those awesome little things and I want to find an accessible website where I can learn songs for it.
The videos on youtube show the fingerings but only ohn the screen.
I am willing to learn but need to find a resource which NVDA will read.
Help will be much appreciated thanks.
I also want to learn braille music so I can improve my playing.
Thanks for any help all and have a great one!

There's a collection of PDF's and guides for Ocarina's [here], though they seem to largely use iconography and images to illustrate the finger positions. There's also a pretty good series of Ocarina tutorials [here]. To give you a hand i'll try and transcribe the fingering positions and how to hold the instrument:

On the top of the Ocarina are are a series of 10 holes, 8 larger and 2 smaller. With the blow pipe facing towards you, the 4 fingers of your left hand go on the 4 larger holes on the left on the instrument, your palm facing towards you. One of the small holes on the left side should be just above your left middle finger.

The 4 fingers of your right hand go on the 4 larger holes on the right side of the instrument, your palm facing away from you. The other small hole on the right side should be just above your right middle finger.

On the bottom of the Ocarina are 3 holes, DO NOT cover the middle hole, that is where the air escapes when playing the instrument. Your left thumb goes on the left hole, and your right thumb goes on the right hole.

Here's a list of the various musical notes and their fingering positions from one of the PDF's:

A: Cover all the holes except the middle bottom one, including the 2 smaller holes on top with your middle fingers.

A#: Cover all the holes except the small hole on the right.

B: Cover all the holes except the small one on the left.

C: Cover all the holes except the two smaller holes on the left and right.

C#: There is no C#.

D: Cover all the holes except the 2 small holes, and the hole under your right pinky finger.

D#: Cover all the holes except the left small hole, and the holes under your right pinky and ring finger.

E: Cover all the holes except the 2 small holes, and the holes under your right pinky and ring finger.

F: Cover all the holes except the 2 small holes, and the holes under your right middle, ring, and pinky fingers.

F#: Cover all the holes except the 2 smaller holes, and the holes under your right index, middle, and pinky fingers.

G: Cover all the holes on the left except the small hole, and none of the holes on the right except the thumb hole.

G#: Cover all the holes on the left except the small hole and the hole under your left ring finger, and cover only the thumb and ring finger holes on the right.

A2: Cover the left holes with your index, middle, and pinky fingers, and both thumb holes.

A#2: Cover both thumb holes, the left holes with your index and pinky fingers, and the right hole with your ring finger.

B2: Cover both thumb holes and the left holes with your index and pinky fingers.

C2: Cover both thumb holes and the left pinky finger hole.

C#2: Cover the left pinky finger hole, and the right ring finger and thumb holes.

D2: Cover the left pinky finger hole and the right thumb hole.

D#2: Cover the left pinky hole and the right ring finger hole.

E2: Cover the left pinky hole.

F2: Don't cover any holes.

This is exactly what I needed.
Thank you very much for doing such a great job of it!
I am so glad I could find someone who could help me do this.
My ocarina  he’s going to be here in a few days, I will seriously enjoy playing it.
Honestly that was a really good job. I’ll keep a copy of this and read it a few times over. I learn it all eventually.
Again thank you very much for describing all that stuff and have a great day!
