Hi.
Are you willing to pay for a server host and someone who will manage everything for you? Then I can be your host.
If you are willing to pay, not much, just like 5 dollars each month, then feel free to contact me privately by sending a mail through the forum, not private message, and we will figure something out.
you pay money, and get a vps. get a windows vps install nvda and remote and you'll be fine
No, never use a windows VPS for any reason. Windows sucks when deployed as a server, use Linux, either Ubuntu or Debian. If you do, yes it is more complicated, yes you will actually have to sit down and learn things, but, it is rock solid reliable. Plus, the Linux way of doing things makes much more sense than the Windows way. For instance, if you move files in Linux, it takes no time at all, because the file doesn't get moved on the physical disk or the SSD, it just has its pointer moved so the OS sees it in a new directory now. It takes very little time to delete things as well. I removed about 10 gigabytes of stuff from my server one time, and it took about 1.5 seconds. Now, it is still doing it in the background, but even the background job doesn't take that long. But one thing to note is that df -h showed the correct size of /dev/sda immediately. You can still run most windows console based apps using wine, or mono if they're written in one of the .NET languages. This means that you should be able to host your servers. Even ones written in BGT if you get into the GUI.
Hi mahdi!
I can give you a free vps, Linux or windows whatever you want.
my e-mail is [email protected]
my skype is [email protected]
Best gaming all.
perseus i need a vps too i was gonna pay for it but now you give for free, can i have
@Mahdi: No, I never use Skype.
@Perzeus: How are you able to give people a free VPS? What's the specs on the VPS people will get, and how can you do that for free?
@Mahdi:
I wander how I should write to you, to make sure you understand what I am saying. Because you clearly misunderstand me.
1. I wrote in post 2 that if you are willing to pay, then we can figure something out. That means I need money from you to offer you something. That also means I can not give you anything for free. That even also means, that if you can't pay for whatever reason, you have to find other alternatives, simply because it means I am not able to offer you something, because the system I am using do cost money, which means it is not free.
2. I also wrote in post 2 that you should contact me privately, by mail, and not private messages. Then I wander why you, even after I wrote that, send me a private message instead a mail, and then letting all people know here on the forum, that you have send me a message? My conclusion is that you don't clearly understood my message.
Well, as you can't pay, then we are both waisting our time. But you have already got an other alternative for a free VPS, which I don't understand is possible. Sinse you can't pay, you can also set up your own server. That requires a lot, and will end up getting more expensive than my offer. You could also simply release the server to the public, and let other people host their own servers.
I wish you the best of luck no matter what solution you choose.
Might as well chime in here. So, you can either get a VPS from linode, which is where I have all my stuff currently and yes, they are linux and or you can get with digital ocean. 5 bucks a month is their cheapest plans but if you're running a game server, and a site you may need a bit more. You get one, and install everything you need, apache, mysql, php and all that fun stuff.
About what perzeus is saying, remember one thing. There is no such thing as a free lunch.
yup: their is nothing for free like that, other things mite be 3 months or a short time, the vps simply go down
Also, it is technically illegal to resell anything if you don't have a permission from the original seller of the product. If you want a server, just go buy one.
thanks slj
how to host my game in my site?
The first step is to learn how to make a website, for example in html. When you have learned this, you will also know how to host your game on your website, since you will learn how to upload your website to your webhost. The short answer is: Use ftp. But if you even don't know what a FTP server is, then you still have a lot to learn. Just one step at the time, you know. Especially when you can't pay. Then you have to learn it all by yourself. I'm sorry to say that.
Hi,
@mahdi-abedi,
If you have learned html and ftp as you say, one of the first steps you have learned is that html consists of several pages. But also an index.html. When you upload the index.html to your webhost, you will have made a good start, cause the webhost recognises the first page it should load and show to the public.
hth
Greetz mike
well
you are creater of jc hosting?
do you have skype?
Yes, and no, I don't use skype, I have it but it would be pointless to give it out here being as I don't even use skype that much anymore.
