I have version 1.2j and try to create account and nothing happened

Hmm, I'd say at least half the jobs and character classes can defeat the goblin king, I never had such problems with it.

....Exactly, what kind of race/class combinations were you trying where you couldn't get passed the first dungeon split bosses?  And honestly, one really doesn't get the eventual level buffs to your stats based on classes at that point, so usually you're just ramming it with whatever skills you trained up.

     Also you say crap, but that's literally the design philosophy for most rpg rogue-likes.  Nothing is stopping you from doing something like fighter mage, but you should not be complaining when that character struggles due to a lack of any synergy, or the class related buffs to stats on certain levels.  There's a reason why the less synergy your characters have, the more points you get at the end of the game.  You went through it with a setup that'll make the game harder.  However, if you kind of find armors that massively boost your stats to stupid levels from the trade store, you can pull off a non-synergetic build fairly well as you'll have the stats for it.  But if you willingly choose setups that make it harder, and by the mechanics of the game know this will be hard, you honestly should not be complaining.  You should play with more suitable builds until you either get a lot better with the game and knowing what to skill up first in a non-synergetic build, or just save up trade coins.

    Also certain builds despite being powerful, are hard to play, especially at the start.  As horrifying as a maxed out ranger assassin can be, getting there sucks.  And starting out with ranger is always a pain on finding a decent bow and decent arrows to fire.  Also without high swiftness, unless your hide+multishot whipes out a majority or all opponents in one volley, you'll have a useless teammate unable to help for like 8 turns.  And there are fights where this can happen, like the hall of mirrors boss.  Also due to the eventual horrifying lag on anything using multi-shot, the only optimal way of using it is with the assassin stuff to insure that high lag skill kills a few things.

     Classes who can survive on their own tend to mostly be the magic classes, especially necromancer and druid.  Mage is honestly too weak unless you get high intelligence to make firebolt do anything, and best used to backup brawlers for their grapple/headbutt combos via shrink/grow.  Trickster is also a fun one to cause some chaos with stuff like charm and polymorph  (transforming a dangerous corpseweb into a naked elf anyone?) 

    Though I mean, if you do something like mage fighter, forgetting that class only gets like 1 skill point to use fighter stuff, and no weapon skills, I'm not sure how to help you there.  Even though I tried weird combos to see if I could get through the game, I wouldn't do something that unsynergetic. 

    Also, for max silliness on a playthrough, make someone be a wanderer, especially a monk and observe subdivide. Further add combine to create your very own abomination.  Get the abomination killed and survive the fight while everyone is at critical hp, and have a necromancer or a summon skeleton scroll to have your very own pet abomination.  Be cheeky and do this process again with either a second necro, or getting rid of the old weaker abomination, and summon an even stronger abomination.  However, there are a few bugs with a player utilizing combine...such as aoe attacks that hit and kill you in abomination form essentially infinitely striking everyone until you are all dead.  Or even funnier, the infinite whirlwind (that poor helplessly spinning troll).

Stop taking things so seriously will you? No one is out to get you, and maybe you should eat some humble pie your self and admit when you've clearly done something wrong. If so many people passed this and you didn't than blaming the game is just the cowards way out anyway.

So I have a few questions. I have played around with an assassin Munk char. First is the assassinate skill a passive one? I mean in the list of choices I have when fighting I don't see  an assassinate option to click on, so is it active when I just fight or is it active when I choose the hide technique? and then fight my next time around? Also with the focus and break limbs skill which would you guys recomend raising so I have more oppertunities to break limbs durring a fight?

so, is the game really free? where can I download the current version?

Assassinate has a good chance to multiply your damage if the opponent is immobilized, such as by grapple, web, sleep or paralyze.

I can run fine the entombed version 1.2 but this 1.5 i can't run I have a win 10 and newest direct x and it don't give me any errors. I just can't run it
