Yes, an Olympus recorder should be able to record from your tv. Just try to hook it up to see if it works. Otherwise you need to enable the line in port through the menus. The menus are different depending on what model you have. That could be a challenge if you don't have a model with talking menus.

edit: never mind, I am still stage one I think.
so, here's an update for  keyboard control:
A, for normal attack
s, for special, I think you have to do some combos with A/d first, maybe you have to fill the meter or something.
D, heavy attack, you have to combine it with A first though, so like, A, A, D
Q. not sure what it is, role?, it will hit some enemies on your way
enter to confirm
space to jump, skip dialog,  and also confirm in some points
escape: cancel and skip the movie.
the first boss is not so hard, just jump away if need to avoid his attack, and spam A or D , and use special.
these enemy with rockets is hard though... I can hear it's taunt , but it's hard to determent where it is, if I hear it to the right for example, I am not sure is it on the top or bottom and dodgeing the rocket is difficult
