Hey nice, outta school finally, real life begins, and you find out that your parents weren't just telling you cliches about school being the best part of your life when the real world delivers a one-two, then a round house kick, then when you're on the ground, trying to tap out, it kicks you in the balls. Ahem, I mean, uh, carry on, smoke cigars etc. I'm just a cynical fuck. Do kids still smoke cigars at graduation like they did in my year? It was like some big thing finally doing whatever you wanted. When I got my ID, I left the DMV, went right into the Bookland at the other end of the strip mall, went into the Ao section and grabbed up a few porno mags, that was nice.
At graduation, my family had to be in the auditorium, and watch a video feed since the graduation took place in the gym due to weather. They never came to meet up with me after, so I started walking around the area. I went all over the first floor, not just the gym, then I couldn't find them and my friends kept thinking they weren't there, so I got up on the top bleachers and yelled, would the family belonging to Brandon Cross please report to the gym. Still no fucking dice, so I walked around a little bit more, I was finally just gonna turn in my gown (we got to keep the cap and tassel) and go wait in the car lol, then finally I found them.
Oh, and my so-fucking-called college prep rich bitch school didn't even know which fucking way the god damn tassel started, did you put it at the right, and move it over to the left when your name gets called or was it the other way around, I still don't remember, think it was right to left, rather than left to right, but they had to do this last minute check lol. We could have done it at the football field, it never did rain, it just kinda looked gloomy. I feel bad for the peeps that had to sit in the gym though, it was hot in there. The auditorium had air conditioning, those peeps were lucky, and i mean, they were watching the video in realtime, also, the gym and auditorium were right down from one another like the very next door.
