Hello everyone.
A big thing just took place around a weak ago.
The guys over at NVDA finally added support for the Humanware Braille Note Touch braille display along with the Brailliant BI 14 display.

The support for the devices are scheduled to come out in the next NVDA update (2018.2).
For you interested. Here's the pull request that implements the drivers: https://github.com/nvaccess/nvda/pull/8031

As a bnt owner myself, I'm glad to see that my main screen reader finally got support for the dam thing smile
What do you think. Too late.
PS: And yes, I know that JAWS has support for the bnt already, but I am using NVDA...
Have a good day.

Yeah, it was too late. I know most people use speech only, but JAWS does have that going for it, it always gets Braille support for as many displays as possible. And seriously, I bet there are more folks working on NVDA than there are on JAWS these days, so they can't use that as an excuse. Shoot, even BRLTTY supports the Braille note Touch! BRLTTY! That Linux program! And since BRLTTY supports it, Narrator will too. Read that again. Narrator will support the Braille note touch just by running the latest BRLTTY. So yeah, its rather a shame. NVDA does show great formatting information, though, so that's why I really want the support.
