Hi all,
So I think I managed to fix my other, more powerful pc, windows 8.1. However my Dad said that it came up with something about refreshing firefox, so I don't exactly know what's happened here and I hope that he didn't reset it by mistake. He was trying to get online to see which electrical point needed fixing, luckily we managed to do this and figure that out, it was a hardware issue turned out it had just been slightly unplugged from the wall for all this time!
However, I am noticing a weird problem. If I fire up internet explorer, I can go to the audiogames forum. But if I loaded up firefox, I can go to any website, accept for the audiogames website including forum and even normal game list. Yet google, Facebook, etc work perfectly.
I then tried updating firefox because it was, ridiculously, on version 48! Interestingly, I didn't notice any slowdown on google's website, yet, it strangely didn't fix my issue: I couldn't access the audiogames forum still!
So, I am wondering what is happening, or whether it might just be better to switch to chrome. I also haven't tried it since before writing this post, I tried it just as we fixed the issue. Also, as the windows 8.1 pc hasn't been online for over a year, I bet it's missing a ton of updates, could that also be an issue? Yet how would that make the audiogames website not work?

hi
if you use a Firefox version under 46.0 the audiogames site and forum don't work. if you have such a version you need to install a useragent. This seems to be a thing that tells the website that a firefox 56.0 is accessing the site although you are using an older one.
if you have Firefox 58 I dont know what  the problem is because i am currently using it and it works fine

I can access the site fine with Firefox. i'm using Firefox 60.0b4 beta.

hi, works here as well, on firefox 59, think it is. though I use chrome, so I'm not sure what version it is. with that said, there seem to be many people having this issue for some reason.

@1
Just update your firefox.  The reason it asked you to refresh is, I believe, because you probably havent used the installation in a long time.

Glad to hear you got things fixed though.
