hello, is there any miniature chess set, which is accessible to blind? there once was, which was like a bigger mobile phone. i am looking for small chess, from which the men dont fall off, knock over, whatever.
for example when you play chess on a phone, and you want to play the match on a table too. but which is portable, and small, so you dont have to carry the whole -big- table with you.
thanks.
M.

There are a few travel kits around 16x16 centimeters when opened with magnetic pieces available on amazon [here] for about 5$ US, note there may be no way to distinguish between light or dark piece sets physically.

For one more specifically marketted to those with visual impairments there's a set from MaxiAids [here] for 23$ US that can also be bought through amazon if you look for it, its around 20x20 centimeters when opened I think. The pieces fit into holes on the board itself so won't easily knock over like magnetic pieces might. There are a few others but there fairly bigger boards.
