Hi,

Is there a way to get the Mac Os X voices on Windows, for example as SAPI-voices.
I mean not the Nuance voices, but the voices from Apple, for example Alex.

It's not possible directly. I highly doubt Apple will ever release SAPI versions of their Macintalk voices. However, you can use an NVDA add-on combined with a running macOS system to generate the speech. The add-on can be found at

However, this is not a perfect solution. Both systems must be on the same network. The speech is generated by the running copy of macOS, so it won't be going through your Windows computer unless you're running Windows in a virtual machine on a Mac. This should also work if you're running macOS in a virtual machine under Windows. This method only works with NVDA. If you've got programs that support SAPI, you won't be able to use this. It would work if someone created a SAPI profile that connects to Macintalk or an NVDA add-on that used the NVDA controller Client to send SAPI output through NVDA. I'd actually love to have one of these available.
