Well, I think if you're wanting to compare all around drum mixing tools then the Abby Road collection is probably not the one you want to look at. Those have more specific uses... studio drummer is probably Native Instrument's equivalent to AD 2. Both are good, I just have a bias towards NI because of their accessibility efforts. lol That, and the Abby Road plugins caught my ear much more than AD 2 did. That vintage dry was definitely good, though.

For sure.  Yeah I plan on getting the  Kontakt Controller or whatever it's called hopefully soon, so I can use it, plus it comes with komplete  but more of a restricted version with not everything included, but that's okay.  still something to get my feet wet. ya know?

I do hope that those who use either tool will find what they are looking for.  I"ve always been  one to use drum VST libraries, since I will also use it in a live environment as well now that I can.
