Hi all,

Is it possible to run a stable RTR server with Ubuntu running WINE?

Luke

Mass in E flat, Op. 109 'Cantus Missæ' is one of my most favorite choral pieces ever.

Come listen to the Heinz Chapel Choir's excellent performance of Kyrie!

Hi SLJ,

Thank you.  I'm working on finding the long answer (I currently have what I believe to be is the stable version of Wine installed).  I just wanted to make sure this was supported by Wine before I went all over the web finding explanations on this.

You're welcome. It works really great in Wine, because the server outputs to a console window which is supported in Wine, unlike a graphical interface if you are running a console version of Linux. So yeah, it is fully supported. Just grab the latest version of Wine. It works.

Best regards SLJ.

My next problem is finding an executable of RTR.  DragonApps took it down in pursuit of a new, updated version.

Oh this is sad. I have it somewhere, but as I'm writing this, I don't have the time to find it. I'll upload it ASAP.

Best regards SLJ.
