Hi all,

I downloaded Ribbon Disabler and tried to disable the ribbon. However, when I restart my computer, the ribbon interface still appears in Windows Explorer. Is this program not compatible with the Windows 10 Creators update or is it purely visual? I thought it would restore the classic menubar.

Make sure you have the latest version from
http://winaero.com/download.php?view.18
Now extract the downloaded .zip, and run the .exe according to which version of windows your running, as administrator. After pressing disable ribbon, the application should ask you to logout and after that point, you should have no ribbon. Just used this on insider build. Note that whenever Microsoft updates your windows version you will have to redo the removing of ribbon.

Thanks for that. I was running the 32 bit version instead of the 64 bit one. I feel like an idiot right now. The good old menu bar is back! I love how all these tweaks to Windows 10 make it appear almost like Windows XP.
