The update worked for me. I have the english translation file.
However, I can't figure out how to use it. I can see all the stuff that's been translated, but I can't set my locale to english.
If I start the game in english locale, my sapi just speaks jibberish characters. If I start the game in chinese locale, I have no sapi until I sign into the game. Also in english locale, I do not have full audio, for example no NPC sounds, no menu beeps, etc.
Still working on trying to get the english file to read properly.

Hello. I updated the game, I find the en file in the locale folder, but the menu and all stuff is in Chinese.

So, It seems that even with the translation fixes, you still have to use the Locale Emulator? I'm confused. I'd like to just get the latest version of the game, download it and play. I'm just not good with doing all this extra stuff to make it work. That's why I haven't gotten and set it up.

So, I have the update, and I find it interesting how I don't have to run it with LocaleEmulator now. It just runs, however in Chinese.
However, I do have the English files, and when I run the update, I do get a message now, however I'm not sure what it is. There's just an okay button, and it runs.
The English files are there. There's a translate.ini file, which I assume the game is supposed to use, as just like the translation files of BK3, it has the English version of the menu option along with the Chinese text for it.
Going to do some more digging.

That did not work, however that appeared to have reverted my settings back to defaults, it would seem.
I did find this line in config.ini, should this line be changed?
locale = 0xffff - en(en)
I wonder if this is what Nuno was talking about, the translation is basically done but the game isn't using it? I've even tried running LocaleEmulator in English, for all the good it did.
