Try the Adobe Audition downloadable content. It's a free, huge, royalty-free sound effects library you can download from Adobe, and contains 2 huge parts: one for sounds and another for loopable music.

Just combed through the links on the Big List, seems the open bundle's gone and disappeared, although i've put up an alternate sound cloud link with the tracks. Also thanks Riad for mentioning the Adobe DLC, added it to the list.
