The name comes from long back before I even started work on any version of the game. It was an inside joke between me and a few friends, we'd offten talk about making our own fps. And the name we'd jokingly call it was death match, we'd offten come up with stupid and retarded names like death match 4, etc. Then, when I started coding, before it was death match, I had developed an initial prototype of the game, first in dragon flame than in bgt. The game was called that at the time as a rather affectionat name and i'd figured i'd find a better name for it layter, but as it turns out the name just stuck and that's what its been called ever since.
