It's that time of the year again! Groups of game design students of the Utrecht School of the Arts have developed 13 small audio game prototypes! Try them out and let the developers know what you think in the forum! You can find all the experimental audio games, as well as many others from the previous years, in the Experimental Audio Games Section: http://www.audiogames.net/playcenter/index_exp.php . Have fun!

Nice games! But I have -as with the previous experimental games- problems with the arrow keys. When I try to pick a soft or hard corner in "blind rally" I will crash. Then Ihave to restart the game. I can take medium corners. I'm using numpad.

Ok, how the heck do you run these things, I extract them, but wear's the exicutible?  How, How, How, do you run them!

Please!  Before I go into the hospital (see the furiousD topic) tell me!

Furious D, can you be more precise what game you downloaded and having trouble running?

Most games are RAR or ZIP files. Extract them to a folder and there will be either an .EXE file or a .SWF file.

how do you extract swf, or what ever?

Hi,

.SWF-files are Flash files. Flash is one of the most popular authoring tools to build (online) games with. Flash-files do not need to extract them. To use .swf files you simply need to have the (free) Flash-browser plugin installed:

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download … moid=BUIGP

You can then open the .swf file in your browser (like Internet Explorer or Firefox). Unfortunately there are sometimes some problems with getting the focus on a flash file when it is running in a browser (meaning that you can't control it until the focus is on the flash movie). So for the sake of accessibility, you can also download a standalone flash player through the following link:

http://gluid.com/games/downloads/expgam … Player.zip

Simply extract the flash player from the zip and execute it. Then use the application to open the .swf-files. You should not have a problem with the focus then. If you have any more problems, please post here. And here's some more info on flash:

I've tryed this flashplayer and it worked well. I like all the new games. Richard: Is it possible to make
downloadable versions of the  online games in the experimental games section as well? I would be happy
if that could be made.

I've done it. if you fall, it's because you haven't found it. in fact, it's one of the hardest games eever, but i completed it. i have a full playthrough and i'm glad i recorded it, because i really don't think i can complete it again. it was just pure luck that got me through there, i think.

sems2.
what on earth. never ever spam like this. ask once and I'm sure someone's gonna reply. if you spam like that you'll get messages similar to this asking you to stop and possibly someone'll help.
if you ask once definitely if someone has the answer they'll reply.

The twins of Mammon quarrelled. Their warring plunged the world into a new darkness, and the beast abhorred the darkness. So it began to move swiftly, and grew more powerful, and went forth and multiplied. And the beasts brought fire and light to the darkness. - from The Book of Mozilla, 15:1

I'm not sure. I've played bounty hunter quite a lot, and have never found it. So for now, the answer is no, unless someone else can find it.

The best thing to do is to try all exits.
Just go wherever you can, try everything. if you find a dead end, go back, try another path. If you don't hear a floor sound, don't jump. Turn back. Just try every path possible that you can see. It took me a while but I eventually found it. I don't know all the ways I went, but I tried every path I found.

In that game it is so danged hard to get off the breaking bricks before they break.
