I've got two completely contrasting but equally newsworthy items on this mornings menue, ---- in fact all they have in common is that their both about audio games, and both being reported by yours truly.

As you might guess from the title, the first involves hitting things, --- or at least TRYING not TO hitt things, or at any rate flying around things! Before I get completely lost in an effort for this to make sense, I'll just say that long standing Forum member Archer has come up with news about the upcoming 3D velocity fast action, realistic flight game from bpc programs. there's now an audio clip of the game's intro where you can here strict orders given you by the commander of air base 15 who lays out the different tests you'll have to go through in your rise up the airforce ladder of command. So what're you waiting for, go here to Download at the dubble

Any thoughts about the game? please place them carefully in this forum thread which Archer has provided (can't have thoughts lying around making the place look untidy).

then, to move on to something completely different, Marco Steinbach and Mardy productions have updated their turn based, screen reader accessible mississippi economic stratogy game. Version 1.30 fixes many bugs, is more easily readable by your favourite screen reader, and has made changes to the way it registers itself on windows to allow different users to have their own settings. Unfortunately for people who already bought and payed for the game, you'll have to completely download the new version, but your registration code will stil work of course. future updates however (due to changes made in v1.30), will be a lot smaller and not require the nasty business of uninstallage.

so if you fancy heading out into the old west to look for the gold that supposed to be in them there hills, ---- and maybe even become the next Abraham Lincoln, let your wagons roll in This direction for the Mardy productions site

Happy gaming, speculating or indeed happy anything else, ---- happy nose scratching if that's what your doing!

Our souls with high music ringing; O men! It must ever be
That we dwell in our dreaming and singing, A little apart from ye. (Arthur O'Shaughnessy 1873.)
