I don't manage to get the URL to the zip file directly, but here is the MyMC web page.

I encountered the following problem when I started mymc.exe: "The program is unavailable to start, because the file called msvcr71.dll is missing. Please install the program again to solve this problem." I installed the program again, but still nothing. Is it possible to fix this issue?

Hi.
Well, it works for me, thanks for the help.
The only problem I have is that it seems to get my inputs to late. For example, I was playing mlb 08, and when I wanted to bat the ball, it reacted to late. Can I do something about that problem?
Greetings Moritz.

Retime it the way your computer handles, Simba. I don't know how to explain it but it's suppose to be something like that if you computer can't handle the input well enough. It use to happen to me quite a lot in every game but not anymore.

Mymc worked for me to this part where I have to select my memory card. I selected it, but he told me that there was no memory card installed. Can you help to fix this problem?

@Border1: Unfortunately I don't know why MyMC would say that no memory card is installed after you select one.
@Mata: I also encounter the problem of PCSX2 getting the inputs late, even though it runs at full speed. I guess it depends on your computer's components and how they are set. At least, is that what you meant?

did both of you set the video to gs-nul?

Hi.
Yes, mmy video card is set to the GS null, can I check that somewhere?
My specs are Intel core I7 6700 HQ 16 GB DDR4 Ram, gForce GTX 1070 graphics card.
Greetings Moritz.

OK, my emulator is probably set to GsNull but my graphic card is probably not set like that by default.
My specs are similar except for the graphic card, I believe it is a GTX-970 but I can't verify and won't be able to before Friday.
Well, the NVidia control pannel isn't very accessible but I managed to somewhat overcome that with NVDA's object navigation, hope I will be able to do that again.

@pulseman45
Can you probably upload your configured pcsx2 emulator?

it shouldn't interfere. i don't even know what my graphic card is set to. all you need is just video configuration...

I don't have a Dropbox account for now, and I don't have access to my own PC until Friday. At least I may make an account because it is quite useful. But at least I remembered setting the emulator to GS Null, but still getting input delay with no noticible difference. I don't know if it is still set to GS Null right now, but I may try it again to be completely sure.

Hi.
Well, I looked into the system region of the programs menu, and there is an option called gs nul driver setting, or something like that, so I guess that the video card has been set up correctly.

you have to go to video settings itself and check something that says nul...if my memory doesn't fool me again...

Is it possible to write a guide how to set up the memory card in the pcsx2 emulator?

@mata:
I opened pcsx2 1.4.0, set my memory card (d:\pcsx2\memcards).
now there are two files:
Mcd001, Mcd002 (with the extension ps2)
I booted the ps2 emulator without a disk. The intro started to play.
Now I opened mymc.exe, selected my memory card and there was an error: D:\pcsx2\memcards\mcd001.ps2: Not a ps2 memory card image
How to configure the memory card in the ps2 emulator?
Are there any steps that I am missing or doing wrong?

Actually, I didn't know that the 1.4.0 release was out, I played on 1.2.1 all along, maybe it is because it wasn't updated for a while so I stopped checking for it.
So maybe it has to do with some kind of change in the PCSX2 memory cards since then, and MyMC not being updated for it yet, but I can hardly understand why the memory cards would work differently or something. Stilln I will try to load a memory card generated in PCSX2 1.4.0 in MyMC and see what happens, when I get the occasion.

I am a little bit further. I was able to import a *.cbs file with mymc to my ps2 memory card. When I opened the ps2 emulator and started the game, i can't load the save game (mymc tells me that the file was imported). Do you know how to play a save file?

Thumbs up

73

Well, normally it should be fine as soon as you import the save file. Though I believe I got a similar problem with DBZ Budokai 3, maybe the save file doesn't work for some reason. Also make sure the region of the game and that of the save file are the same, though I guess you probably verified that already.

74

Do you use *.cbs or *.max files for your savegame?

From what I remember, I used .max most of the time.
