Hello
I'm looking for a file storage, doesn't matter how much free account can hold, with accessible interface/client like dropbox. If anyone know of file storage websites like that, it would be appritiated.
Thank you in advance.

Hello Mata.

There is https://degoo.com/

You get 100 GB of free space when you sign up to the service. It is a backup service, so it's not like Dropbox however you do get a lot of space to back up files and folders.

I'm gone for real :)

A very similar service to dropbox is Mega, which is very accessible with NVDA.
You earn 50 GB storage space.

@afrim mega has lmitation for file download per day? I yeard it, not sure if thats truth.
Have you tried google drive? It gives you only 15 gb of free space but i think thats a good alternative.

I like SendSpace, I find both the web site and the client very accessible.

2016-08-03 15:19:19

I used Google drive, this service gives 15 GB for free user, but it worth it.

2016-08-03 16:20:47

The only downside to sendspace is the extremely, extremely slow download speeds. But if that doesn't matter to you, I say go for it

2016-08-04 09:23:00

@Brian, I don't think the downloads are limited on mega per day.

2016-08-07 21:31:57

I've never seen any download limits imposed by mega. in fact, I seem to remember that, when the scandal was going on after the original megaupload site was shut down, that mega was touted as a cleaner, freer version than its predecessor. I've never tried uploading anything to it, though, and had no idea that the process was accessible. The problem with so many of these file storage sites is that downloading from them is extremely simple and screen reader friendly, but uploading is an entirely different matter. Why there should be such a great divide between the two functions is beyond me.

As for Sendspace, if you have a pro account, you don't experience those slow download speeds. But of course a Sendspace account isn't in everyone's budget, or most people's, I imagine.

The glass is neither half empty nor half full. It's just holding half the amount it can potentially hold.

Hey there... let me recommend sync.com! check it out

After years, i finally changed my signature! But i don't know what to say :D

2016-08-08 15:37:12

@Gamecreator, does sync.com free?

2016-08-08 17:00:51

@turtlepower, to upload a file to Mega, you simply press application on a file and find "Upload to mega" and you're done

2016-08-09 00:00:08

Nice. I'm glad to see that it's so simple. More cloud storage providers need to start doing this, in my opinion.

yes, it is. Well you have the option to pay of course to get storage... but it gives you 5 gb i believe and earn 1gb per registered user with your referral link.

Sure Mega does. It's very similar to dropbox

2016-08-19 06:11:56

So, I just installed MegaSync, I know how to upload a file, but one thing, when I need to share a file, do I need to go to their website?

2016-08-19 12:32:38

No, I believe you should click application, and there should be an option to do it

2016-08-19 15:06:15

The only option that I've seen is, "upload to Mega".

@mata
Hey! don't just leave us all here,, let us know which one did you choose?
And @Brad
Tell us more about this 100GB. What are the conditions and restrictions we need to go trough for this storage?

i have tryed degoo, but the client application for that service is not really accessible. after the program is set up, it just opens in a blank windows. you might get something done with ocr, but normally, this the client is not accessible.

I like my uptime down low and my servers all hacked. Can see me droppin' twenty-fours with a router in the rack.
Ya like ya Switch-Ports hot and ya servers all hacked. If ya pings real high and ya networks pitch black.

OneDrive is also a good solution.

Hello.

I'm sorry to say I can't tell you anything about the terms and conditions as I didn't read them when signing up.

My friend Amin used the service before me. I trust him so I knew I was going to like the program.

As for sharing data, for me that's not a big issue. It must be protected somehow.

For example, I cannot see my friend Amins data unless I had his username and password.

There is an option that says get extra space by sharing unused processor time. I checked this box as I don't mind doing that.

You can find out more about that option here.

Hi,

I haven't looked through this whole topic, however I've recently come across Mega

http://mega.nz

It's accessible, and you get 50 gb free!

Hope that helps. smile

I've been going by Bryn, which is now reflected in my profile. Please do your best to respect this :) Mess ups are totally OK though, I don't mind and totally understand!
