My new project www.WeCanPlay.info is here.  It's a community for visually impaired or blind people who play mainstream videogames.  You'll find audio demos, reviews, and articles written by our members.  Right now there's a small amount of information availible, but I'm hoping to drasticly increase that in the next few weeks.  The audio page actually has some audio worth checking out.  the screens page only has one game written, but that will also be increasing.  There's a mailing list that people can subscribe to if they so desire.

Hey, that's cool. But I was wondering, since anyone can edit anything, how will you keep people from spamming or messing up the site?

well.  first thing you do is make it so only registered members can log in.  the nice thing about mediwiki is it's easy way to roll back pages. so if someone breaks something, I just roll it back to the way it was before.  I ran another wiki that constantly got spammed, and so I've learned from that experience.

umm... the site has been removed due to spam? in the topic it says.

It means the forum doing so with the link. Must be a spam filter mechanism of some type.

Liam,

Post the link again in a format that won't get anti-spammed.

Cancel that. I just read the topic line and used that to get to your new site.  Duh!

To Liam and all,
We can play is a good website. liam, you could also perhaps upload the streams that you do (i just discovered the stream, and thanks! you should really do more of them.)
I think i missed the battle arina toshindon stream but there's a playthrough on the we can play site so i might get that.
for those interested in liam's stream you can go to:
http://listen.liamerven.com
and then right click and save target as and you will get a playlist file, then i think that redirects to the stream and it's for your own convenience. it should work all the time as long as the server's up.

that's really my general shoutcast stream for what ever I stream. but I tend to randomly play video games up there, so it's worth checking out now and then.  though it tends to contain random content, so like listener discression is advised.  I usually use it when streaming stuff from the house when I'm on the road.

hmm, well I once helped orin on grand theft auto san andreas and he said I should do an audio run through on it
but I mean, I don't have any good recording material, and my ps2 and tv are all the way upstairs, so I don't know how I would accomplish that.

I have no idea how to do that, I might need a little help with this

It's simple. There's one thing to do. Go to radio shack, ask them to buy a converter that has two rca plugs on one end and the other end a simple 3.5 mm jack. Then connect the two audio plugs, one for each channel, left and right, and plug it into the RCA end. Then you plug the other end into your line in jack. Then just unmute your line in jack and the auio comes through your speakers.
