Well I know usually when people come back we expect them to bring a vengence with them. After all, vengences are useful things to have around, you can't have enough o them, especially the nice tasty little green ones that you can boil up and put in a vengence stew, or those big red spotty ones you use when a storm of vengence comes along.
Well long standing forum member Nocturnus, who was a moderator, news poster and worked on the db from 2012 to 2014 is back, and he hasn't bought a vengence with him. I know, this is really annoying, I was missing a vengence for my collection, but in fairness Nocturnus has bought something infinitely nicer, his lady, (even though I don't think she's bought any vengence either! grrrrr! now what am I going to put on my toast this morning).

All of this rubbish is to say we're welcoming back Nocturnus as a moderator, news poster, db editer and all around helpful fellow, and we're welcoming Nightshade in the same vane, ---- without the fellow part ( maybe as fellowette? fella? Felloween?).

Much thanks to both of them for taking up the thing that what audiogames.net staff has to take up, even if they didn't bring any vengences.

wow, welcome back, Nocturnus!

and welcome MRS. Nocturnus, as well! big_smile

Hi all!
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm glad to join the team, and will do my best to help in any way I can.
I'm sorry I didn't bring any tasty vengences with me, but hopefully my contributions will help people from time to time nonetheless.

Rubbish?  I don't like being welcomed with rubbish!  That sounds, rubbishy!  I expected a full orchestra playing the Imperial March!  Followed by trails of lightning, and peals of thunder!  And everyone falls to the ground in awe!  That's what I expect!  Because!  I'm!  Nocturnus!  Nocturnus the Nocturnus of Nocturnuses! :d
Anyway, thanks for the welcome, and you're welcome for the thanks, and this post is pointless, but that's kind of what I do best.  Oh, and, uh, sorry for the cyber elves we hurt on our way in. I mean, it wasn't really like, we hurt hurt them, more like we just, kind of hurt them.  Ya know, the usual stuff, get to work or else we'll cane you, toss you in solitary confinement for days on end while you slave away for our cause, that kind of thing.  Really!  it's not hurtful!  It's a love tap!

@nocturnous: welcome back and @nightshade a warm welcome to you too.
@figment: nice link too, a popular theme indeed and a good one.

Actually when I think of Nocturnus I think of the Chopin Nocturne no. 2 in E-flat major, op. 9.

@Figment
hahaha!  You just made my night!  Thank ye kindly!  :d

@Nocturnus

The soundtracks for the original three movies, episodes 4 to 6, are some of my favorite albums. The music Jogn Williams wrote for Star Wars is simply awesome.

Unlike episodes 4 to 6, the music from episodes 1 to 3 and episode 7 didn't inspire me to go out and buy the soundtracks for them.

I'm entirely with you.  I was actually gifted episode 4's soundtrack on my 7th birthday.  I'd do my absolute best to follow along on my piano after the first two listens.  Interestingly enough, I didn't watch the movie itself until nearly two years later.

Wow. Welcome back, Nocturnus, and a big warm welcome to Nightshade as well. big_smile

Best regards SLJ.

Welcome to both of you.

At Nocturnes, welcome back. Also, welcome to the crazy mod team Nightshade. At dark, turns out, i found a group of cyber elves trying to hord the venginces you were looking for. I asked the elves why they would dare try to take what is rightfully yours, and they simply said vengeance is a dish best served cold.

Thumbs up on post 14!  Man, it feels good to be back!

welcome to the both of you. Also, I do wonder how many vengences those silly elves can eat? it seems like their would at least be some left for the rest of us.

2016-06-24 06:06:54

Well fortunately I noticed a brakethrough today on the vengence supply front. We occasionally get elves exploding down at the factory, ---- you know the usual reasons common to any institution, industrial relations with the workers, accidents in the mines (we try to get the sweepers in but honestly getting a good cleaning service these days is murder).

However this was a more, well shal I say projective explosion than most. It seems the vengences said elf consumed had somehow multiplied inside it until everything went, ---- well pop.

I freely admit I'd forgotten that vengence only leeds to more vengence.

Oh and what were we talking about? Oh yes, new moderators! great to have both of you, feel free to grab your favourite implement and begin elf motivating, ---- well when you can catch the little blighters anyway, big_smile.

Dark,
Now that the UK has left the EU, are you going to be stranded in America?
By the time you want to return with Mrs. Dark in hand you might have to scale the gigantic wall that will be erected around the British Isles.
